Tool What it does You give it You get back Built from
Quote configurator Configures a component, prices it against published supplier list prices, and routes it to the laboratories that can build it. Every figure carries the source it came from and the date it was captured. Component, quantity, buyer class, acceptance criterion, QC package and delivery state An indicative price band with per-line derivation, a routing list with reasons, and the RFQ packet each laboratory receives [object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object] verified supplier prices across the catalogue, re-derived on the server at submit
RFQ builder Assembles a plain-text request for quotation from the specification vocabulary the catalogue says suppliers ask for. Structured answers about component, quantity, acceptance criterion, QC and delivery Copy-pasteable text block and a downloadable .txt 548 specification prompts and 209 quality items across 66 offerings
Cell count calculator Converts a plate plan into a vial order, accounting for post-thaw viability and attachment efficiency, and prices it against verified, dated list prices. Plate format, cells per well, plates, replicates, viability, attachment efficiency Nominal cells to order, vials at five pack sizes, modelled cost at five verified prices 5 verified supplier list prices, each with source and capture date
WWD package validator Checks the container conformance of a .wwd package: mimetype, manifest, integrity digests and declared extensions. A .wwd file, read in the tab Pass, warn or fail with a diagnostic code per finding Seven container rules from the WWD 0.1 draft specification

Tool What the page still shows
Quote configurator The plain specification form at /quote, which reaches the same place
RFQ builder Clause outline, full worked example and the printable prompt reference for every offering
Cell count calculator Every formula, worked at the default inputs, with the full price and plate-format tables
WWD package validator The full container rule table with the diagnostic code for each

Order of use in a purchase

  1. 1
    Size the order

Work the plate plan back to a vial count with the cell count calculator. Post-thaw viability and attachment efficiency multiply.

  2. 2
    Write the specification

Put the quantity into the RFQ builder along with an acceptance criterion, the quality documentation and the delivery constraints. The prompts come from the catalogue entry for the component.

  3. 3
    Circulate it

Send it to suppliers yourself, or send it to us and we will circulate it to capable laboratories and return the quotes normalised to the same units, lead-time basis and QC scope.

  4. 4
    Check what comes back

Where a supplier returns a WWD package rather than a PDF, the validator confirms the container is well-formed and every declared file matches its digest before anyone opens it.

Limits

  • Not a quotation. Every cost figure is modelled from a published list price and is labelled as such. No supplier has seen your requirement until you send it.
  • Not a contract. The RFQ builder produces a request. Terms, liability and acceptance are settled in the quote and the purchase order.
  • Not a substitute for the data sheet. Growth areas, viability specifications and cell counts must be confirmed against the supplier document for the lot being purchased.
  • Not tracked. Nothing you type is transmitted. There is no account, no storage and no analytics on what you enter.
